The Holy Church of Saint Andrew the Apostle in Patras announces the schedule of Divine Services for September 2026.
Throughout the month, Matins, Divine Liturgies, Vigils and Vespers will be celebrated, with special observances for the Nativity of the Theotokos, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and the Feast of the Return of the Holy Skull of Saint Andrew the Apostle to Patras, on 26–27 September 2026.
Feast of the Return of the Holy Skull of Saint Andrew
On Saturday, 26 September, at 11:00 a.m., the Holy Skull of Saint Andrew will be transferred and placed for veneration in the centre of the New Church. At 7:00 p.m., the Great Hierarchical Vespers will be celebrated.
On Sunday, 27 September, at 7:30 a.m., Matins and the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in the New Church.
In the afternoon, celebrations marking the beginning of the new fishing season will take place, followed by the procession of the Holy Skull of Saint Andrew the Apostle through the city of Patras, concluding at the Holy Church.

📌 Every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.: Vespers and Salutations to Saint Andrew the Apostle before the X-shaped Cross.
